Suzuki Swift drivers Guy Wilks and P-G Andersson are

event of the year. Wilks set all the fastest stage times
today apart from one, while Andersson fought back from
brake problems and a puncture.

P-G Andersson
(2nd in JWRC after SS17):
"It's not been very easy for me today, but we're
still in second place and we've got a good chance
of taking some useful points. On SS12 we only had
rear brakes, as we had broken a brake pipe in a
corner against something in the road. Then about
five kilometres from the end we had a puncture,
but we were able to keep going to the finish. We
had another puncture on the final stage of the day
that we had to stop and change, and that cost us
nearly two minutes. It was unlucky, as we were not
taking risks, but these things happen. The important
thing is that we concentrate on getting to the end
now." |

Guy Wilks (1st in JWRC after
SS17):
"Everything's been really good so far. We've not
had any major problems today - we've just been
concentrating hard on keeping everything neat
and tidy. We started the day behind Kris Meeke
but I think we were catching him, so maybe the
pressure we were putting on him forced him to
make the mistake that cost the lead. From our
point of view, the only difficulty we had was
punctures: luckily one of them was on a road section
so it did not cost any time. The aim tomorrow
is just to carry on as we are - safely!"

Nobuhiro'Monster' Tajima, team
principal:
"Guy and P-G both drove very well in the tricky
conditions yesterday, and also in the warmer conditions
today. The Suzuki Swift must have looked and sounded
spectacular in the Finnish forests, but we do
not want any dramas tomorrow! We still have four
stages to go, without service, so we will do everything
we can tonight and hope for a trouble-free run
tomorrow..."
